CLA Hires Emily Sitzler

Christ’s Legacy Academy (CLA) recently hired Emily Sitzler to serve as the primary teacher for its kindergarten and first grade classes.  Miss Sitzler is a 2010 graduate of Bryan College with a B.S. in elementary education.  She is certified both through the state of Tennessee and the Association of Christian Schools International to teach in all subject areas for K – 6th grade.  She is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Athens, a volunteer and Full Circle Women’s Services and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in teaching.  Dr. Steve DeGeorge, professor of education at Bryan College stated of Miss Sitzler, “Emily Sitzler is an outstanding teacher…she is personable, responsible and well-prepared to teach.”  Christ’s Legacy Academy is pleased to welcome her to the teaching staff for the 2010-2011 school year.  Christ’s Legacy Academy is a Christ-centered, classical, kindergarten through eighth grade school located in Athens.  For more information or to enroll contact the school at 423.649.0040 or christslegacyacademy.org.
