Board of Directors

The purpose of the Board of Directors of CLA is to:

  1. Develop a vision and strategy and see it is executed in a manner of excellence that glorifies God;
  2. Direct operations as the primary decision making body;
  3. Hire and oversee the Headmaster and teachers;
  4. Establish and enforce policies;
  5. Set the budget and ensure spending remains in budget.
Board of Advisors

The purpose of the Board of Advisors of CLA is to:

  1. Serve as a sounding board to the Board of Directors;
  2. Serve as advocates and champions of CLA in the community;
  3. Partner in prayer for God’s specific leading in all areas of CLA.
Faculty/ Staff

The link between Christ-centered, classical philosophy and it’s methodology is the faculty at CLA.  CLA’s faculty adhere to certain requirements to assist in maintaining the mission and vision of the school.  Some of these requirements are:

  1. Exemplify and articulate a saving and growing relationship with Christ.  Be a person of Christian love, faith, truthfulness, and virtue.
  2. Be active in a local church, with a substantial record of service and leadership in the body of Christ.
  3. Be in agreement with the Christ’s Legacy Academy Vision Statement, Mission Statement, Core Values and Statement of Faith.
  4. Be passionate about educating children in a Christian environment, and about the grade/subject to be taught.
  5. Be willing to work closely with parents in the education of their children.
  6. Be committed to academic excellence.
  7. Be committed to personal life-long learning.
  8. Possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
