Shane Arnold, Ph.D.

Shane and Kim Arnold have three children and reside in Athens, TN. Dr. Arnold received a Ph.D. from Southeastern University in North Carolina and is currently the Senior Pastor at Double Springs Baptist Church.

Samuel J. Olsen II, M.D.

Sam and Rachel Olsen have been married twelve years and have four children, ages 7, 5, 3 and 1.  Sam is a physician in Etowah, TN and Rachel is a stay-at-home mother.  They have lived in Athens for several years and are excited to see how God is moving in this work of starting a Christ-Centered Classical school. Dr. Olsen currently serves as chairman of the board of directors

Crockett Shamblin

Crockett and Lori Shamblin are residents of Athens, Tennessee. They have been married for twelve years and have two children. Crockett is a sales representative with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. Lori is a homemaker and teaches in-home bible studies to youth and young adults in the area. They are active members of Clearwater Baptist Church (Athens, TN).

Board of Advisors

Richard and Elaine Newman

Mr. Newman is retired from the Navy and a retired Assistant District Attorney General.  He and his wife, Elaine, own and operate the Majestic Mansion Bed & Breakfast in downtown Athens, TN.  They also host a church in their home.

Bill and Raye Danner

Mr. Danner is a retired military officer and currently teaches advanced math at Meigs County High School.  His wife, Raye, has a passion for children and love for the Scriptures.

Rev. Dr. Samuel J. Olsen and Judy Olsen

Dr. and Mrs. Olsen are ministers of the gospel, former missionaries and have been highly involved in education for over 15 years.  Currently they reside in Dayton, TN.

Dr. James D. Price

Dr. Price is a Hebrew scholar & educator.  He has been involved in translating the New King James Version as well as the Holman translation of the Scriptures.

Jerry Williams

Mr. Williams is married with 4 children and lives in Johnson City, TN, where he currently serves as the Administrator and Secondary Principal for Providence Academy.  Providence serves as a mentor school to Christ’s Legacy Academy.

Dan Peterson

Mr. Peterson is married to Brooke and has 3 children.  He lives in Morristown, TN where he serves as Headmaster for Cornerstone Academy.  Cornerstone also serves as a mentor school for Christ’s Legacy Academy.

Rev. Dr. Shane Arnold & Kim Arnold

Dr. and Mrs. Arnold have 3 children and live in Athens, TN.  Dr. Arnold serves as pastor at Double Springs Baptist Church in Riceville, TN.

Rev. Oran Creasman

Rev. Creasman is a retired principal from McMinn County High School and is also a former pastor of Eastanallee Baptist Church.

Carolyn Goforth

Mrs. Goforth is a retired English teacher and currently serves as the superintendent of Sunday School at Clearwater Baptist Churchand works with AWANA.  She has  2 children and 7 grandchildren.

Elizabeth Johnson

Miss Johnson, better known as Miss “Libby” Johnson, is a lifelong ambassador of Christ.  She has served as a Sunday School teacher, missionary, and Bible teacher for the public school system for many years.

Dr. Craig Riley

Dr. Riley and his wife, Becky, live in Etowah, TN with their three children.  Dr. Riley is a well-known and highly respected physician in the community.  He also has a heart and passion for education.

Ric Wilson

Ric is currently employed with the McMinn County Juvenile Services Department and serves in McMinn County High School.  Ric has a passion for young people and is currently the Leader of the BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry) at Tennessee Wesleyen College.
