Tuition
There are still scholarships available for the 2010 – 2011 school year. Please email the headmaster to discuss tuition options for your family.
There are four objectives/principles that are central to determine how tuition is calculated:
- Keep tuition as low as possible
- Consider Teacher compensation
- Cover all operational expenses with tuition
- Wrap all costs into a single tuition fee
Christ’s Legacy Academy is accepting donations, but will not depend on any donations to help cover operations. Also, we will not use tuition income to cover anything but the “Operational Budget”. This is vital to keeping tuition as low and as affordable as possible.
This year will be challenging given the country’s current economic situation. Many of our families have been affected by the recent downturn; however, we remain committed to doing all we can to keep tuition as low as possible. We are working hard to increase our scholarship funds and financial aid funds in order to assist parents and children to attend Christ’s Legacy Academy.
**Please keep in mind that the more students we have, the lower tuition costs will be.
In light of all of this, the following is the tuition schedule for the 2010-2011 school year:
Total tuition cost for 2009-2010 (not including the $150 application fee or discounts):
- Half-day Kindergarten = $3,796
- Full-day Kindergarten—8th grades = $4,845
Need-based scholarships are available that can result in tuition assistance of up to 50% for qualified families. In addition, there are multiple opportunities for tuition discounts, as follows:
Early payment discount:
- Families who pay in full by June 15, 2010 are eligible to receive a 6% discount per student.
- Families who pay in full by August 5, 2010 are eligible to receive a 4% discount per student.
- Families who pay quarterly can receive a 2% discount per student.
Multiple child discount:
- Families with 4+ children are eligible to receive a 4% discount per student.
- Families with 3 students are eligible to receive a 2% discount per student.
The maximum discount for any student (except for students of teachers and staff) is 6%.
Monthly payments will be due in 10 installments by the 5th of each month beginning on August 5, 2010 and running through May 5, 2010. Quarterly payments will be due on the 5th of each month for the following months: August 2010, November 2010, February 2011, and May 2011. There will be a $25 late fee for any payment received after the 10th of each month as per policy.
