Tuition
Tuition Goals
There are four objectives/principles that are central to determine how tuition is calculated:
- Keep tuition as low as possible
- Consider Teacher compensation
- Cover all operational expenses with tuition
- Wrap all costs into a single tuition fee
Christ’s Legacy Academy is accepting donations, but the school desires to not depend on any donations to help cover operations. Also, we will not use tuition income to cover anything but the “Operational Budget”. This is vital to keeping tuition as low and as affordable as possible.
This year will be challenging given the country’s current economic situation. Many of our families have been affected by the recent downturn; however, we remain committed to doing all we can to keep tuition as low as possible. We are working hard to increase our scholarship funds and financial aid funds in order to assist parents and children to attend Christ’s Legacy Academy.
**Please keep in mind that the more students we have, the lower tuition costs will be.
2011-2012 Annual Tuition
In light of all of this, the following is the tuition schedule for the 2011-2012 school year:
-
Grammar School (Kindergarten – 6th grade) – $3950 per school year
-
Logic School (7th – 9th grade) – $4350 per school year
Scholarships & Discounts
Need-based scholarships are available that can result in tuition assistance of approximately 40% for qualified families. Each family is required, however, to contribute at least $2400 per year, per student toward tuition (This includes all families on need-based, pastoral or teacher scholarships).
Multiple child discounts:
- Families with 2 children enrolled at CLA are eligible to receive a 10% discount on the total combined cost of tuition.
- Families with 3 children enrolled at CLA are eligible to receive a 15% discount on the total combined cost of tuition.
- Families with 4 or more children enrolled at CLA are eligible to receive a 20% discount on the total combined cost of tuition.
*Please note that families who are paying the minimum tuition amount of $2400 are not eligible for multiple child discounts.
Payment Plans
Tuition can be paid in full, quarterly or monthly. Parents agree to a payment plan at the time of enrollment.
Monthly payments will be due in 10 installments by the 5th of each month beginning on August 5, 2011 and running through May 5, 2012. Quarterly payments will be due at the start of each academic quarter. There will be a $25 late fee for any payment received after the 10th of each month as per policy.
