God's command to rest is clearly outlined in the Fourth Commandment: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" (Exodus 20:8). The Sabbath is more than a physical pause; it’s an act of trust and obedience. By resting, we acknowledge that our worth and success do not depend on endless striving, but on God's provision and grace.


Jesus echoed this invitation to rest when He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Resting in God isn’t just about a day off; it’s about finding peace in His presence and allowing Him to refresh our hearts.
