Sarah Dalbey
Creative Arts Director, IT Director
Sarah Dalbey is a jack of all trades who graduated with a BA in Vocal and Instrumental Music and Education from Bridgewater College in Virginia. While surviving her first few years of teaching, she also completed an Associate's Degree in Biblical studies from Vision International University before moving to Tennessee to complete her Master of Music in Music Education at Lee University. She then taught at McMinn County High School in Athens, TN for many years as the choral director, growing a program of 50 students to a program of over 200 students. After surviving COVID and Virtual Learning, she transitioned to Christ's Legacy Academy in 2021 to begin a Creative Arts Program and work with her husband, Nick Dalbey. During her years of teaching, she has served as a Worship Pastor in several churches in Virginia and Tennessee, started and directed several community choirs for both teenagers and adults, served as a Director of Development and Marketing for the Salvation Army, travelled and performed in China, Ukraine, and many Western European countries, and has directed more than 15 musicals and a slew of other shows, ranging from Murder Mystery Dinner Theater to Singing Valentines. She enjoys composing music, playing video games and being a tech geek, splashing around in rivers, cooking, and gardening. Most of all, she enjoys encouraging and helping the young men and women at CLA discover their strengths and excel in the giftings God has given them.
